Anna Surinyach

Photojournalist, visual editor, and documentary filmmaker. She teaches photojournalism at the International University of Catalonia and is co-founder of Revista 5W, specialising in long-form reporting and international journalism. An expert in documenting migration, forced displacement, and humanitarian crises, she has collaborated with NGOs such as Médecins Sans Frontières, Intermón Oxfam, and Expertise France. She directed the documentaries Misbah and #Boza, and was a finalist for Picture of the Year (2024), winning awards including the Istanbul Photo Award, Premio Zampa, Montserrat Roig, and Desalambre Award for Perseverance.
