Fernando Méndez-Leite

Director, screenwriter, critic, and educator. President of the Spanish Film Academy since 2022. He directed films such as El hombre de moda, El productor, ¡Ay Carmen!, and La corte de Ana. He is renowned for his adaptation of La Regenta for TVE and for his work as a critic and professor at ECAM and the University of Valladolid.
