Ahaaram is a Tamil word which means food. We all consider that water is the very first food of human. This film is about a village suffers from water scarcity due to their innocence & lack of knowledge. A young postman who comes to deliver a letter, make them understand the high-necessity of water and he guides them for plantations using waste water and to increase the chances for rain fall. Finally the village is saved by rain fall & water.
