Spring Zone is a small, uphill community who depends on spring water for drinking, cooking, bathing and washing of clothes, etc. Some residents have no pipeline water connection because they cannot afford it. While others still get water from the spring because faucet water flow is intermittent. The community spring is poorly maintained and an old hand pump system is still being used to extract underground water. There is a lack of support by the local government to build a better water facility. Do they have to wait for a water disease outbreak? What of the community’s future? When will their spring water last?
