Sitio Mauricia is a small village situated in a remote area of Bamban, Tarlac, Philippines. Its highland location hinders the establishment of a decent water system. For almost seventeen years, a well pump and a spring became the primary source of water of the people in the Sitio. These people, the young and adults, are conscious that the kind of water they are drinking everyday poses a threat to their health. However, because of having no other means of getting a clean and safe drinking water, they just endure the water from the well pump and spring. Subsequently, the people in Sitio Mauricia have already accepted this kind of condition but their hopes are still high and praying that someday, they will be able to utilize and drink fresh and clean water.
