The existing system has been able to meet just one fourth of the water demand Poor supply system, population growth and misuse of water are commonly known reasons behind the existing water shortage problem in Kathmandu. On other hand incomplete of Melamchi water supply project of government which was planned many years ago has made a people to suffer more.
